Stephany Zárate, biographical sketch

Stephany Zárate was born in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 1992. She graduated in Chemical Engineer at ITESO (2016). She was visiting scholar in Texas A&M (Food Science) with Dr. Alejandro Castillo in 2015. Furthermore, she participated as scholar intern in Instituto de Madera, Celulosa y Papel (Universidad de Guadalajara) making organic synthesis in order to develop a cellulose based zwitterionic compound directed by Dr. Ricardo Manríquez. Moreover, she worked as engineer for Ureblock (Guadalajara) in development, research and supervision of a water-based polychloroprene contact adhesive for the furniture industry.

She is currently PhD student at the University of Zaragoza working on the synthesis of organic structures and their principal antitumoral properties with Dr. Raquel P. Herrera and Dr. M. Concepción Gimeno.
