Dr. Rosa María Ortiz Trujillo, bibliographical sketch

Dr. Rosa María Ortiz Trujillo was born in Elche (Alicante, Spain), in 1978. She received her BSc (2000) and MSc degrees (2002) at the University of Alicante. She completed her PhD in 2004, under the supervision of Prof. Miguel Yus Astiz at the same university. During her PhD studies she worked on the field of organometallic compounds and its applications in organic synthetic and methodological chemistry. Then, she was appointed as a “Highly Qualified Lab Technician” of the Organic Chemistry Department at the University of Alicante (2004-). During this time she has been involved in different projects with private companies, such as “Fábricas Agrupadas de Muñecas de Onil S.A.” (FAMOSA), KINSY S.L., TAKASAGO International Chemicals Europe S.A. among others, as well as in public projects funded by “Ministerio de Ciencia y Educación”, “University of Alicante”, “Consellería de Educació”, etc. She is currently a visiting scientist in the research group of Dr. Raquel P. Herrera (ISQCH, CSIC-University of Zaragoza).
