Inés Sebastián Molia was born in 1997 in Zaragoza (Spain). She graduated in 2020 at the University of Zaragoza. She studied her last year of her degree at the Trinity College of Dublin as an Erasmus+ student. She undertook her final Bachelor’s project at the Trinity Biomedical Science Institute (TBSI, Dublin) in the area of bioinspired catalysis. Her project specifically was focused on the synthesis and characterization of a high valent Cu(III)-Fluoride complex and its oxidative reaction towards phenols, and was supervised by Dr. Aidan McDonald. In 2020, she started a Master on Molecular Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis at the UZ. Master’s Final Project is currently supervised by Mª Concepción Gimeno and Juan Mangas-Sánchez, in which they attempt the synthesis of new gold metalloenzymes and its further applications as catalysts.
