Clelia Papillo was born in 1999 in Bologna, Italy. She began her studies in Chemistry and Material Chemistry at the University of Bologna. She graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s thesis on “Electrochemiluminescent biosensors for sepsis diagnosis”. She is currently enrolled in the master’s degree Low Carbon Technologies and Sustainable Chemistry at the University of Bologna. She’s carrying out her final thesis project on “Homogeneous organocatalysis for the synthesis of bioactive compounds” at the HOCA group under the supervision of Dr. Raquel P. Herrera.
