Alberto Valero Tena was born in Segovia (Spain) in 1985 and he lives in Zaragoza. He has always been interested in an international environment, that’s why he decided to acquire experience as chemical/process engineer working during short stages in Poland, Montenegro, Croatia, Austria and Qatar. He is currently developing his MSc. Chemical Engineering’s Final Project at the University of Zaragoza under the supervision of Dr. Raquel P. Herrera (H-OCA group, ISQCH (CSIC)-University of Zaragoza) and Prof. Dr. Santiago Uriel (CLIP group, ICMA (CSIC)-University of Zaragoza). His research interest focuses on the organocatalysis behavior of halogen-bond-based functional compounds.
