Mattia Vecchi was born in Vignola (MO), in Italy, in 1997. He began his studies in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna in the academic year 2016/17, and graduated (Bachelor’s Degree) in 2020. He did a traineeship in the National Research Council, Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity Institute (CNR-ISOF), mainly regarding Organic Chemistry and photoreactivity of model compounds for photo-initiated reactions. In the year 2020, he started his Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna. Currently, he’s doing an internship at the University of Zaragoza, working in the HOCA research group, where my work is focused on synthesis and Organocatalysis.
