Jorge Ramos Pueyo was born in Zaragoza (Spain). When he finished high school, he decided to embark on a degree in chemistry at the University of Zaragoza. He began his university degree in 2020. In 2023-24 he began completing his final degree project titled “Synthesis of peptides as organocatalysts and ligands in antitumor metal complexes”, under the supervision of Dr. Francisco J. Sayago and Guillermo Canudo-Barreras. While he was doing his final degree project, he took part in the III Symposium in Molecular Chemistry and Catalysis organized by ISQCH and CSIC at the University of Zaragoza awarded for the 2nd Prize Poster Presentation for the outstanding performance presenting his Final Degree Project. In 2024-2025 he began the Master in “Molecular Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis”, and currently, he is working in his Master Thesis titled “Synthesis and evaluation of proline peptide-based organocatalysts”, under the supervision of Dr. Francisco J. Sayago. He finds research to be something vital for science and the development of humanity.
