Angelos Kalafatas is a Greek chemist specializing in interdisciplinary chemical research spanning analytical, environmental, and emerging bioorganic applications. He completed his BSc in Chemistry at Democritus University of Thrace (June 2025), graduating 2nd in his cohort (8.05/10). His research experience includes work on CO₂ capture technologies, electrochemical systems, nutraceutical materials from winery by-products, and an internship at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. He has contributed to multiple scientific conferences and is a co-author of a publication on industrial naproxen synthesis. Angelos is particularly interested in developing innovative chemical solutions at the interface of sustainability, catalysis, and applied molecular science.
